Title Description for Opportunity :

Role Name: Spark/Scala Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark and Scala for batch and real-time processing.

· Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.

· Work with Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, and cloud platforms to process large-scale structured and unstructured data.

· Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Spark applications to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational stability.





Must Have Skills:
- Apache Spark (Core, SQL, Streaming)
- Scala Programming
- Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, HBase)
- SQL & Data Warehousing Concepts
- ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
- Kafka / Data Ingestion Frameworks
- Unix / Shell Scripting
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Databricks & Delta Lake
- CI/CD, Git, and Performance Tuning of Spark Jobs
- Walk-in Drive Locations - Kolkata .
- Experience Range: 4 to 10 years
- Qualifications: Any Technical Degree(BE/B,Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BCA/BSC/Diploma/Masters)
