Role Description The Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, responsible for overseeing workplace safety across manufacturing operations. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with occupational health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety audits and inspections, leading safety training sessions, investigating accidents and near-miss incidents, and preparing related reports and corrective action plans.

The Safety

Manager will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HR teams to reduce risk, promote a safety-first culture, and continuously improve industrial safety practices.



The role also includes staying updated on regulatory requirements and supporting incident prevention initiatives and emergency preparedness programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Health and Workplace Health and Safety (EHS).
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Safety Training and Industrial Safety within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Accident Investigation and incident reporting, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to electrical/electronic manufacturing.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Safety Management, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
- Professional certifications in safety or EHS (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
- Experience in risk assessment, emergency response planning, and implementation of safety improvement projects is preferred.
