ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer – Level 2 to independently manage quality inspection and documentation activities for process equipment, fabrication, piping and structural works. The candidate will coordinate with Production, Project, Design, Vendors, Clients and Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform material, fabrication, dimensional, visual and final inspections of process equipment, pressure vessels, piping and structures.
- Review MTC/MTR, drawings, P&ID;, GA, piping isometrics and fabrication documents.
- Prepare/review QAP, ITP, inspection reports, quality records and inspection dossiers.
- Verify WPS, PQR, WPQ and welding activities as per applicable requirements.
- Coordinate and witness NDT, hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, PWHT, painting and surface preparation.
- Coordinate Client and TPI inspections and ensure timely closure of inspection observations/NCRs.
- Conduct vendor and site inspections, including material verification and equipment/piping/structure erection checks.




- Maintain material traceability, calibration records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to achieve project quality and delivery requirements.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Working knowledge of ASME Section II, V, VIII & IX.
- Good understanding of fabrication, welding and inspection practices.
- Knowledge of NDT methods – RT, UT, DPT/LPT, MPT and VT.
- Experience in pressure vessels, process equipment, piping and structural fabrication.
- Knowledge of ISO/QMS requirements and quality documentation.
- NDT Level II certification will be an added advantage.

PREFERRED PROFILE

- Mechanical Engineering Diploma / Degree with 3–6 years of relevant QA/QC experience.
- Experience in process equipment manufacturing, distillery, evaporation, dryer, ZLD or similar process industries will be preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendor and client sites as required.
