Job Role

- Interior Project Manager cum Estimator

- Manage end-to-end interior finishing and fit-out projects across residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality spaces.

- Take responsibility for project planning, site execution, estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor management, cost control, quality, and timely project delivery.

- Coordinate with clients, designers, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Monitor project progress, resolve site-level challenges, and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning &

- Coordination:

- Prepare complete project schedules, timelines, work sequences, and resource plans.

- Coordinate with clients, designers, vendors, and subcontractors.

- Conduct regular site visits and check site readiness.

- Monitor daily project progress and ensure activities remain on schedule.

Site Execution &

- Supervision

- Manage end-to-end interior finishing, civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, flooring, painting, glass, and metal works.

- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Supervise site teams, contractors, and subcontractors.

- Resolve site issues, material shortages, and workforce challenges promptly.

- Ensure proper coordination between different trades and activities.

Estimation &

- Costing

- Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, cost estimates, and material take-offs based on drawings.

- Evaluate vendor and contractor quotations.

- Compare rates and negotiate where required.

- Monitor project budgets against actual costs.





- Implement cost-control measures to maintain project profitability.

Material &

- Vendor Management

- Prepare material requirements and ensure timely availability at the project site.

- Track material deliveries and consumption.

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, delivery, and billing.

- Conduct material quality checks as required.

- Maintain purchase orders, invoices, certifications, and other project documentation.

Quality Control &

- Reporting

- Ensure all work meets approved specifications, safety standards, and QA/QC guidelines.

- Conduct regular site meetings with project teams and contractors.

- Prepare daily and weekly project progress reports.

- Monitor workmanship and identify quality issues.

- Prepare and submit as-built drawings and project closure documents.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out execution for residential and commercial projects.

- Expertise in BOQ preparation, estimation, rate analysis, and project costing.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

- Basic knowledge of project management tools.

- Robust leadership and team management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple vendors, contractors, and site teams.

- Strong knowledge of interior materials, including plywood, laminates, lights, tiles, ACP, metal, glass, and related materials.

- Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.

Experience

- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in interior project management and estimation.

- Experience in residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality interior fit-out projects is preferred.
