Role Description The Head Public Relations is a full time, on-site role based at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar.



This role is responsible for designing and leading the university’s overall public relations strategy, strengthening institutional reputation, and ensuring consistent and positive visibility across national and international media. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and overseeing press releases, organizing press conferences and media events, managing relationships with journalists and media houses, and responding to media inquiries. The role involves coordinating with senior leadership, academic departments, and marketing teams to align messaging, support campaigns, and highlight key achievements, initiatives, and thought leadership. The Head Public Relations will monitor media coverage, manage issues and crisis communication, provide guidance on strategic communications, and ensure that all public-facing content reflects the university’s values and brand standards.
