Product Associate | Technical Product & Strategy
Role Overview
Earthood is looking for a Product Associate | Technical Product & Strategy to work closely with Product, Technology and Business teams to build, improve and maintain digital products and internal technology platforms.
This role is ideal for a fresher or early-career candidate with a solid technical foundation and an interest in Product Management. You will work closely with engineering teams to understand systems, translate business problems into technical requirements, analyse data and APIs, test features, troubleshoot issues and contribute to the development of scalable digital solutions.
The role provides exposure to product development, software architecture, APIs, databases, automation, system integrations and climate-tech/MRV platforms.
Key Responsibilities
● Work closely with Product and Technology teams to understand business problems and convert them into clear product and technical requirements.

● Analyse existing systems, workflows and processes to identify product gaps,



inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
● Create detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, business rules and validation logic.
● Work with Engineering teams during solution design, development, testing and deployment.
● Understand and work with REST APIs, JSON payloads, webhooks, API endpoints and system integrations.
● Analyse data flows between different systems and understand dependencies between applications, databases and services.
● Use SQL to query databases, validate data, investigate issues and support product troubleshooting.
● Use browser developer tools, API testing tools and logs to investigate and reproduce product issues.
● Participate in debugging discussions with engineers and help identify the root cause of functional and integration issues.
● Work with Git/GitHub and understand basic software development and version-control workflows.
