Role Description The Production Planning Control Manager will oversee end-to-end production planning activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused output at the Hosur manufacturing facility. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing and managing production schedules, aligning capacity planning with demand forecasts, and coordinating closely with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams.





The manager will monitor inventory levels, optimize material availability, and implement control measures to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, driving process improvements, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. The role requires regular reporting to leadership on production performance, resource utilization, and key operational metrics.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Production Planning and Production Schedules to manage and optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Ability in Capacity Planning and Inventory Control to balance demand, resources, and material availability.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing or metal furniture manufacturing industry, preferably in a high-volume, multi-product environment.
- Proficiency with ERP / SAP or production planning systems and MS Excel for scheduling and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilitie.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a plant environment and uphold safety and quality standards.
