Key Responsibilities
1.
Global Process
Design &
- Standard
- Define and maintain global Tax Operations process design and standards across Direct and Indirect Tax and Intercompany Transfer Pricing (ICTP).
- Ensure alignment with system architecture and the global tax operating model.
- Structure processes to be standardized, scalable, and executable within the Global Hub.
- Drive continuous improvement and evolution of global tax processes in line with regulatory, business, and system changes.
- Act as the central point for defining Tax Operations process design including cross-functional interfaces to Finance/Controlling esp. for ICTP.
2.
Indirect
Tax Global Standards
- Maintain and further develop global standards for Indirect tax determination, tax codes, and Indirect tax-relevant master data.
- Design rules and controls to prevent systematic Indirect Tax risks.
- Enable consistent and scalable execution of Indirect Tax processes in the Global Hub.
3.
Direct
Tax – Global Standards
- Define global standards for Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and Pillar Two processes.
- Establish frameworks for data collection, validation, and reporting.
- Drive standardization and auditability of Direct Tax processes.
- Enable scalable execution aligned with global service delivery models.
4. ICTP – Intercompany Transfer Pricing (Global Standards &
- Execution Enablement)
- Define and maintain global standards for intercompany transfer pricing processes, including pricing rule design, documentation requirements, and operational execution models.
- Design and standardize end-to-end intercompany processes (e.g., pricing, invoicing, settlements, adjustments)
ensuring alignment between tax requirements and financial/ERP process flows.
- Translate transfer pricing policies into system logic (e.g., ERP, tax engines), enabling automated and scalable execution within the Global Hub.
- Establish controls and data validation frameworks to ensure compliance with OECD guidelines and local TP regulations, including audit trail and documentation readiness.
- Drive transparency and consistency of intercompany transactions, supporting alignment between Tax, Finance/Controlling, and Business stakeholders.
5. Integration with Systems &
- Processes
- Translate tax requirements into system and process design (e.g. ERP, tax engines).
- Drive the embedding of tax processes into system architecture.
- Drive automation and standardisation across Tax Operations.
- Support implementation readiness for global process rollouts and system transitions.
- Additionally for ICTP, mapping of transfer price policies into ERP pricing conditions, intercompany profit mark-ups / cost allocations as well as integration with margin analysis and legal entity reporting is required.

Operating
Model &
- Stakeholder Alignment
- Define the interaction model between the Global Hub, regional governance layers, and local entities.
- Drive alignment between global process standards and regional expert requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT stakeholders to align process design with system and operational requirements. Collaboration with Controlling and Business also needed to ensure alignment of transfer pricing models reflecting operational business models.
7. Risk, Controls &
- Compliance Framework
- Define and maintain global controls and compliance frameworks for Tax Operations.
- Promote transparency, auditability, and data quality through process and control design.
- Enable systematic identification and mitigation of tax risks through standardized processes and controls.
- Ensure compliance with global Transfer Pricing regulations and audit requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Tax, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Professional tax or accounting qualification is an advantage.
- More than 5 years’ experience in Tax Operations, with focus on Direct Tax and/or Indirect Tax within a global operating model.
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in process design, standardisation, or transformation initiatives within Tax or Finance.
- Exposure to shared services environments, global hubs, or service delivery models.
- Experience translating tax and regulatory requirements into structured, system-enabled processes.
- In-depth knowledge of tax-relevant system logic (e.g. ERP systems such as SAP FI R3/S4, tax engines) and understanding their integration into business processes.
- Robust stakeholder management across global, regional, and local layers.
