Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Prescription Verification Executive to support prescription processing and verification activities within the pharmaceutical/healthcare workplace. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, validating prescription details, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that prescriptions are processed in accordance with applicable pharmaceutical and internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Verify prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, and validity before processing.
- Review patient, medicine, dosage, strength, frequency, and quantity details carefully.
- Check prescriptions against established pharmaceutical and internal verification guidelines.
- Identify discrepancies, unclear information, missing details, or potential errors in prescriptions.
- Coordinate with pharmacists, doctors, healthcare professionals, or relevant internal teams whenever clarification is required.
- Ensure appropriate handling of prescription-related information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate records of verified, rejected, and escalated prescriptions.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)



and quality-control processes.
- Ensure timely processing of prescriptions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Escalate suspicious, incomplete, or potentially inappropriate prescriptions to the concerned authority.
- Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements related to prescription verification.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy targets as defined by the organization.

Qualification

- Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in prescription verification, pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical services, healthcare operations, or a related role.
- Experience handling prescriptions and medicine-related information will be an advantage.
