Job Summary:

We are seeking a Network & Security Pre‑Sales Engineer with solid experience in enterprise networking, data center connectivity, and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in routing, switching, SD‑WAN, and network security technologies, and the ability to engage effectively with enterprise customers. This is a customer‑facing role requiring end‑to‑end ownership of pre‑sales activities including solution design, proposal preparation, demonstrations, PoCs, and handover to delivery teams.

You will work closely with sales teams, OEM partners, and key stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures that align with customer business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

-Engage with enterprise customers to gather network and security requirements

-Conduct technical discovery sessions and requirement analysis

-Design and propose end‑to‑end network architectures including LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN and hybrid connectivity

-Architect and position network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and secure remote access

-Develop High‑Level and Low‑Level Design documents (HLD/LLD) based on customer requirements

-Perform solution sizing, capacity planning, and performance optimization

-Lead Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) initiatives and solution validations with customers

-Prepare Bills of Materials (BoMs), proposals, and technical presentations

-Respond to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs with detailed technical inputs and solution recommendations

-Collaborate with OEMs and partners for reference architectures, pricing approvals, and validation

-Stay updated with emerging networking and enterprise security technologies — including SD‑WAN, SASE, cloud networking, and monitoring tools





Core Technical Expertise:

-Enterprise networking: LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN and Hybrid connectivity

-Routing & Switching: Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, including protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.)

-Network Security: Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC

-Network Monitoring & Management tools

-Network performance, high availability, and capacity planning architectures

-Wi‑Fi & wireless network design (Cisco, Aruba)

-RFP/RFI/RFQ response and pre‑sales solution documentation

-Customer demos, workshops, and technical presentations

Skilled Experience & Skills:

-5+ years in pre‑sales, solution consulting, or solution engineering in enterprise networking and security

-Strong understanding of networking and security technologies and solution architecture

-Experience handling RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and bid documentation

-Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and deliver under timelines

-Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and solution design skills

-Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills

-Customer‑focused mindset and business alignment capabilities

Must‑Have Qualifications:

-Minimum 5 years of experience in network pre‑sales, consulting, or engineering

-Proven expertise in enterprise networking (routing/switching) and SD‑WAN technologies

-Hands‑on or design experience with network security solutions

-Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment

-Strong stakeholder and executive‑level communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

Cisco CCNP (Routing & Switching)

JNCIA‑MistAI or similar

Fortinet NSE 4 / NSE 5

Palo Alto PCNSE

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
