We are seeking a passionate and experienced A Level Physics Teacher to join our Cambridge International programme at our Tiruppur campus. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and a proven ability to prepare students for Cambridge AS & A Level examinations. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, developing practical scientific skills, and supporting students in achieving academic excellence.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Physics (or) Applied Physics (or) relevant degree from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) preferred.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience at the higher secondary level under AS/A Level, IBDP, CBSE or ISC curriculum.
- Prior experience teaching AS & A Level Physics or equivalent programs will be a strong advantage.
Essential Skills
- Deep conceptual understanding of Physics principles and their real-world applications.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with scientific lab equipment and experimental best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting.
- Competence in using educational technology and virtual lab simulations.
Responsible for
- The Physics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Physics to students in Grades 9 to 12 under the Cambridge curriculum.
- The ideal candidate should have prior experience teaching senior secondary Physics in international curricula (Cambridge/IBDP) or national boards (CBSE/ISC), strong content mastery and effective classroom delivery skills.
- The teacher is also expected to contribute to broader school functions, including student mentoring, academic planning, assessment and collaboration.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Deliver conceptually strong and engaging lessons covering topics such as Mechanics, Electricity, Waves, Modern Physics and Practical Skills, etc.
- Use a blend of inquiry-based learning, experimentation, technology and problem-solving strategies to enrich student understanding.
- Encourage curiosity, scientific thinking and application-oriented learning aligned with Cambridge benchmarks.
- Create detailed lesson plans, scheme of work and unit plans that align with the Cambridge Physics syllabus.
- Ensure alignment of instructional goals with assessment objectives and learner outcomes.
- Develop and implement projects, assignments and laboratory activities to promote experiential learning.
- Design internal assessments, quizzes, mock tests and practice papers as per Cambridge pattern and School’s requriement.
- Prepare students for external board examinations with a focus on question interpretation, time management and marking schemes.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide individual feedback for academic growth.
- Conduct hands-on lab sessions following safety standards and ensure accurate handling of lab equipment and resources.
- Guide students in writing scientific reports, maintaining lab records and interpreting experimental results.
- Track student performance, identify learning gaps and offer remedial or extension sessions.
- Mentor students for competitive exams and university entrance in Physics or STEM-related fields as needed.
- Act as a class teacher or homeroom mentor when assigned, ensuring student’s academic and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with subject coordinators, academic leaders and cross-disciplinary faculty.
- Participate in curriculum review meetings, school events, academic planning sessions and parent interactions.
- Engage in professional learning, including attending relevant Cambridge or IB training sessions and workshops.
- Use digital platforms, simulation tools and e-learning resources to enhance lesson delivery and student interaction.
- Maintain an organized and resource-rich online classroom environment for blended learning.
Safeguarding & Child Protection
- The staff is expected to follow strict safeguarding policies.
- Ensure secure, appropriate, and monitored use of library resources.
- Report concerns according to school safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain a child-friendly, inclusive, and respectful environment.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
