Job Summary -DAY DUTY ONLY The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medicines accurately, maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and providing medication counselling to ophthalmology patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense ophthalmic medicines, eye drops, ointments, tablets, and surgical consumables as per doctor's prescription.

- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.

- Educate patients on the correct use of eye drops, ointments, and post-operative medications.

- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, lenses, and pharmacy supplies.

- Monitor expiry dates and ensure FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practice.

- Generate bills and maintain accurate pharmacy records.

- Receive, store,



and label medicines according to regulatory standards.

- Coordinate with consultants and OT for surgical medication requirements.

- Maintain Schedule H/H1 drug registers and other statutory records.

- Ensure cleanliness and proper storage conditions within the pharmacy.

Qualification

- Mandatory: D.Pharm / B.Pharm

- Valid Kerala State Pharmacy Council Registration

- 1–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience (Eye hospital experience preferred)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
