Roles & Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and manage New Relic monitoring solutions across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

- Configure and maintain New Relic APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Log Management, Synthetic Monitoring, and Distributed Tracing.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring frameworks to ensure system availability and performance.

- Monitor application health, infrastructure utilization, and business-critical transactions.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot performance issues across applications and infrastructure.

- Integrate New Relic with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and incident management tools.

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.

- Define monitoring standards, observability best practices, and governance processes.

- Support production environments and ensure proactive incident detection and resolution.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.





Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with New Relic APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Logs, Dashboards, Alerts, and NRQL.

- Strong understanding of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability concepts.

- Experience monitoring cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, web applications, APIs, and microservices architecture.

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container monitoring.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.

- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
