Job Purpose

The intern will work directly with the CEO and get exposure to business strategy, finance, operations, sales, marketing, research and founder-level decision making.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assist the CEO in day-to-day business and strategic activities.
2. Prepare PowerPoint presentations, business reports, dashboards and MIS for internal and external meetings.
3. Conduct market, competitor, insurance industry and business research.
4. Support the CEO in financial analysis, revenue tracking, projections and business planning.
5. Prepare and maintain business data, trackers and follow-up reports.
6. Coordinate with internal teams and ensure timely execution of tasks assigned by the CEO.
7. Follow up with team members, partners and stakeholders on behalf of the CEO.
8. Assist in preparing meeting agendas, minutes, action points and follow-ups.
9. Create skilled and visually appealing presentations and creatives using Canva.
10. Assist in preparing business proposals, strategy documents and client/partner presentations.

Support sales and business development initiatives whenever required.
12. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas with a strong business perspective.
13. Track important industry developments, particularly in the insurance and financial services sector.
14. Assist in planning and execution of meetings, events, travel and business activities.
15. Be available to travel with the CEO/business team whenever required.
16. Handle confidential business information with complete discretion.
17. Take up ad-hoc assignments and get things done without requiring constant supervision.

Candidate Criteria

I would keep the criteria quite clear and slightly demanding:

1. Graduate / pursuing graduation in BBA, B.Com, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field.
2. Strong interest in Finance, Business, Entrepreneurship and the Insurance Industry.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
