Senior Content Writer & Content Strategist
What This Role Actually Is
This is not a task-ticking content role. You will own the written voice and content strategy across client accounts—from search strategy and topic selection to final copy and performance optimisation.

You will be responsible for driving content and SEO outcomes across a portfolio of clients. This means thinking independently, identifying opportunities, building strategies, creating high-quality content, and continuously improving what is published.

You will work alongside channel specialists and senior leadership. While you will receive strategic direction, you are expected to take ownership of your content, strategy, priorities, and publishing cadence.

If you need constant direction to produce valuable work, this role will not suit you.

What You Will Own
SEO Strategy & Keyword Ownership
Build keyword strategies aligned with client business goals.

Conduct keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitor research, and content gap analysis.

Identify opportunities where content can improve rankings, traffic,



leads, and conversions.

Proactively identify underperforming content and recommend improvements.

Understand buyer-mode keywords and how search intent changes across the funnel.

You will receive initial direction but are expected to evolve the strategy independently.

Content Writing & Production
Write high-quality, search-optimised long-form content.

Create high-intent blogs, listicles, comparison pages, alternative pages, landing pages, and website content.

Create content based on search intent, buyer journey, and business objectives.

Adapt tone and messaging for different brands and audiences.

Balance SEO requirements with readability, authority, engagement, and conversion.

Your content should require minimal editing before publishing. Quality is your responsibility.

Own content calendars and publishing pipelines across assigned accounts.
