About The Opportunity

A quick-scaling startup in the digital storytelling and brand PR sector, we help mission-driven companies amplify their voice through strategic media outreach, narrative crafting, and influencer-led campaigns. Operating entirely remotely across India, we combine journalism-grade storytelling with performance marketing tactics to secure high-impact press coverage and audience engagement for clients in tech, sustainability, and consumer D2C spaces. Role & Responsibilities

Identify, research, and pitch high-potential media outlets, journalists, and influencers aligned with client verticals (tech, climate, D2C, etc.)
Build and maintain a dynamic database of media contacts, including beat tracking, response rates, and pitching performance metrics
Partner with client success and content teams to develop custom pitch angles, press kits, and embargoed story leads
Track and report on media placements, sentiment, and campaign KPIs — translating coverage into client ROI narratives
Proactively scout emerging media trends, podcasters, YouTube creators,



and niche publications for untapped exposure opportunities
Own outreach cadence — follow-ups, relationship nurturing, and post-placement relationship management to convert one-offs into recurring coverage

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
Media pitching
Press release writing
Journalist outreach
Media monitoring tools (Meltwater, Cision, HARO)
CRM or outreach automation (Lemlist, Lemlist, Mailshake)
Story pitching frameworks
Google Sheets/Excel (for media tracking dashboards)
Basic understanding of SEO and owned media amplification
Preferred
Experience pitching tech or D2C brands
Familiarity with podcast pitching or YouTube influencer outreach
Knowledge of Indian media landscape (Hindi/English regional and national outlets)
