Role Overview

We are looking for an execution-focused Merchandiser with 2–3 years of proven experience in the home textile / home linen domain (bed linen, table linen, cushions, throws, and curtains). In this role, you will own the order life cycle from the moment a tech pack or design concept lands on your desk until the final shipment is inspected and dispatched.

You will serve as the primary anchor between our commercial/client teams, sampling rooms, fabric vendors, and production units, ensuring our commitments on quality, lead times, and costing are met without slippage.

What You Will Do

- End-to-End Account Execution: Manage running orders and sampling pipelines, translating buyer tech packs, specs, and trim cards into actionable factory work orders.
- T&A; Ownership: Build and track a realistic Time & Action (T&A;) calendar for every style. Proactively flag delays in lab dips, strike-offs, fabric processing, or packaging to prevent bottlenecking final ex-factory dates.
- Sampling Management: Supervise proto samples, sales samples, size sets, and photo samples. Ensure fit, color standards, wash-fastness, and hand-feel match client expectations before dispatching for approval.
- Material Sourcing & Coordination: Work with mills and vendors to follow up on greige fabric procurement, dye lots, prints, embroidery panels, labels, and specialized packaging materials.
- Costing Support: Assist in compiling accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and consumption sheets to support quotation prep and order margin integrity.
- Floor & Quality Follow-Up:



Coordinate with internal QA and production supervisors on pilot runs, inline audits, and final AQL inspections, addressing quality deviations before they reach the packing stage.
- Buyer Communication & MIS: Keep clients updated with transparent, transparent weekly progress reports. Maintain daily tracking sheets, vendor POs, and shipping documentation.

What We Are Looking For

- Relevant Background: 2–3 years of core merchandising experience within a home textiles manufacturer, export house, or buying agency.
- Product Knowledge: Solid grasp of home linen fabrications (cotton, linen, blends, yarn-dyeds, jacquards), thread counts, printing techniques, and home-specific stitching/finishing details.
- Commercial & Organizational Skills: High comfort level with MS Excel (order sheets, tracker sheets, formulas) and formal email communication.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive operator who solves small production issues early instead of escalating them at the packing stage.
- Location Preference: Based in or around Andheri, or residing along a direct suburban/metro line with an easy, sustainable daily commute.
