Role Overview The Manager/ Sr. Manager - MEP will lead the end-to-end planning, design management, engineering, procurement, execution, commissioning, and operational integration of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire & Life Safety systems across the organization's real estate portfolio. The role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, cost optimization, sustainability initiatives, statutory compliance, quality assurance, and timely project delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end MEP design management from concept to project handover.
- Review and approve MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Drive MEP budgeting, estimation, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, PMCs,



and contractors for seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, BIS, NFPA, Fire, RERA, and local authority regulations.
- Manage tendering, vendor evaluation, procurement, and techno-commercial negotiations.
- Monitor project execution, quality, safety, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Lead sustainability initiatives including IGBC/LEED certifications and energy-efficient solutions.
- Support property management and facility teams during asset handover and operations.
- Mentor and lead MEP teams while establishing engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in MEP design, execution and project management.
- Strong expertise in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and BMS systems.
- Experience handling large residential, commercial, mixed-use, or hospitality developments.
- Strong knowledge of estimation, budgeting, tendering, and value engineering.
- Familiarity with MIVAN, IGBC, LEED, sustainability, and smart building technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera, and SAP.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of statutory approvals, quality standards, and project delivery processes.
