Build STAR-CCM+ models, simulate Thermal Runaway heat release and gas venting, run transient interface CHT and verify CFRP and aluminum safety margins. Evaluate in-flight and ground airflow, cold-day temperature drop risk, series serpentine cooling loops, and PDU heat sink and fan sizing. Deliver trade studies and design recommendations.Qualifications:bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical or aerospace,5 to 12 years experience.Solid STAR-CCM+ with transient CHT, battery thermal management, and thermal runaway exposure.Preferred: Aircraft battery systems, PDU or electronics cooling, fan curve matching, certification support, and test correlation
