: Business Development Manager Architects and Interior Designers

Role Overview

CenturyPly is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in sales via the Architect and Interior designer segment. The role focuses on developing strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and key stakeholders while actively driving site-level conversions.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in sales related to architects and interior designers (residential, commercial, institutional).
- Drive specifications and approvals for CenturyPly products in ongoing and upcoming projects via relevant stakeholders
- Identifying needs for specifications at key sites in the assigned area
- Conduct regular site visits to track project progress and ensure product visibility.
- Influence purchase decisions at the site level through relationship management and technical inputs.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with architects, interior designers, and consultants.
- Conduct product presentations and ensure brand specification in project designs.
- Work closely with dealers/distributors to ensure product availability and timely supply.




- Support channel partners in closing project orders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and specifications targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of project pipelines, client interactions, and sales forecasts.
- Provide regular updates to management on business progress.

Key Requirements
- 810 years of experience in Project Sales/specifications segment, preferably in plywood, laminates, building materials, or allied industries.
- Strong experience in site visits and direct architect interactions.
- Proven track record of handling large projects and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
- It shall be an individual contributor role with no team handling.
- Must have a two wheeler or a four wheeler with license.

Preferred Skills
- Strong networking skills with architects, builders, and contractors.
- Technical understanding of interior/building materials.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- High level of ownership and result orientation.
