Unity’s Accounting team is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing global accounting organization. This role will play an integral part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while supporting accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and process improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong general accounting and US GAAP knowledge, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced global environment.

What you'll be doing
- Perform timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Perform GL, P&L; and Balance Sheet analysis, investigate variances, and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Support accounting and reporting activities across areas such asrevenue, leases, intercompany, corporate accounting, and other general accounting functions, depending on business needs.
- Prepare financial reporting and analysis and provide accurate accounting information to internal stakeholders.




- Support internal and external audits, SOX controls, and related compliance activities.
- Partner with cross-functional and global teams on accounting matters, process improvements, automation initiatives, and special projects.

What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field with relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding ofUS GAAP, general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to investigate accounting issues, identify variances, and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
