NABOUT THE ROLE
nCultureCareers manages volunteer programmes for cultural clients across India. We are recruiting experienced coordinators for a client project in Goa, running across two phases: remote volunteer screening from late September to November, and full on-ground coordination across a two-week deployment..
NThis is a senior on-ground role. You will be the person volunteers turn to when something goes wrong, across multiple venues, over consecutive days.
NWHAT YOU WILL DO
nRemote phase, late September to November

- n
- Conduct structured screening calls with volunteer applicants and assess them against role-specific criteria N
- Manage shortlists, documentation and volunteer communication N
- Coordinate with the CultureCareers lead on pipeline progress N

nOn-ground phase, December, Goa

- n
- Deploy and supervise volunteers across multiple venues N
- Run daily briefings andshift handovers N




- Manage attendance, rotation and real-time problem solving on site N
- Act as first point of contact for volunteers throughout the deployment N
- Report daily to the CultureCareers lead N

nWHAT YOU MUST HAVE

- n
- Direct experiencemanaging volunteers, promoters or on-ground teams at a festival, cultural event, exhibition or large-scale public programme N
- Comfortable running structured phone or video screening calls N
- Strong working knowledge of Goa: geography, venues and local networks N
- Full availability in Goa across the December deployment. Exact dates confirmed at shortlisting. This is non-negotiable N
- Availability remotely from late September for screening calls N
- Strong communication inEnglish and Hindi. Konkani or Marathi is an advantage N
- Calm under pressure andcomfortable in a quick-moving, multi-venue environment N
