Job Title: IBDP French Educator

Location: OWIS, Sarjapur Campus
Programme: IB Diploma Programme (DP)

Role Overview:
The IBDP French Educator is responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction within the IB Diploma Programme. The role focuses on developing students’ linguistic proficiency, intercultural awareness, and critical thinking skills, while preparing them effectively for IB assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons for French Language B and/or Ab Initio, aligned with IB DP curriculum standards.
- Foster students’ proficiency across all language domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Prepare students for IB internal and external assessments, including Individual Oral examinations.
- Integrate cultural perspectives to enhance global awareness and international-mindedness.
- Assess, track, and report student progress using IB assessment criteria.
- Provide timely, constructive, and differentiated feedback to support student achievement.
- Maintain accurate academic records, including reports, assessments,



and documentation.
- Collaborate with the DP Coordinator and faculty members for curriculum alignment and planning.
- Participate actively in school initiatives, parent interactions, and career development programmes.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in the IB Diploma Programme or an international curriculum.
- High level of proficiency in French (native or near-native fluency).
- Experience teaching French Language B and/or Ab Initio is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in delivering interactive and student-centered language instruction.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with IB DP assessment
