- About the Role_
We are looking for a highly analytical, ownership-driven Category Manager who can independently build, scale, and optimize a full product category across D2C, Amazon, and Retail channels. This role requires someone who can deep dive into data, identify gaps and loopholes, build strong processes, and take complete responsibility for the category’s revenue, margins, and customer experience. You will own the category end-to-end from sourcing to selling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Category Leadership & Ownership
- Full ownership of the product category with P&L; responsibility (revenue, margins, ROI).
- Build and execute a 12-month category strategy, roadmap, and GTM plans.
- Identify loopholes in current processes and build strong systems to fix them.
- Drive competitive analysis, market research, and trend forecasting.
2. Growth & Channel Expansion
- Drive multi-channel growth across D2C Website, Amazon & Marketplaces, Retail Stores
- Launch current products, improve depth, variants, and category width based on insights.
- Own category merchandising for all platforms.
3. Product & Sourcing Management
- Work closely with sourcing and product teams to Identify new suppliers, Improve cost efficiencies, Ensure quality standards, Manage timelines and vendor performance, Oversee pricing, discounting, and unit economics.
