ob Description: Instrument Technician - Oxygen Plant

Location: Nagarnar, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh (CG)
Industry: Oxygen / Industrial Gas Plant
Position: Instrument Technician
Experience Required: 5-7 Years
Salary Range: ₹28,000 - ₹32,000 per month

Qualification
- Diploma or B.Tech in any of the following disciplines:
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Control & Instrumentation (C&I;)
- Electronics & Telecommunication (E&T;)

Experience
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Oxygen Plants, Air Separation Units (ASU), or Process Industries:
- Hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities
- Installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments such as:
- Pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters
- Control valves, analyzers (O₂ purity, pressure, flow)
- Routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems




- Troubleshooting and rectification of instrument faults to ensure uninterrupted plant operation
- Handling PLC/DCS-based control systems and associated field instrumentation
- Loop checking, commissioning, and documentation of instruments
- Coordination with operations and electrical teams for smooth plant functioning
- Compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and plant regulations
- Maintaining records of calibration, maintenance logs, and spares inventory

Required Skills:
- Robust knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems
- Experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems
- Understanding of P&ID; drawings and control logic
- Ability to work independently during shifts and emergencies
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
