Position Summary
Level: SAP FPSL Functional Consultant
We are seeking an SAP FPSL Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation and post-go-live operations of SAP S/4HANA for Financial Products Subledger. You will work with finance, actuarial and technical teams to translate regulatory accounting requirements, including IFRS 17, IFRS 9, US GAAP and multi-GAAP reporting, into effective subledger solutions for banking and insurance clients.
What You Will Do
Configure and implement SAP FPSL - Set up the source data layer, accounting rules engine, and result data layer. Configure multi-GAAP capabilities, including Central GAAP / Delta GAAP and subledger posting logic for financial instruments and insurance contracts.
Support accounting and measurement requirements - Assist with accounting configurations and reporting support for IFRS 17, IFRS 9, US GAAP and other multi-GAAP requirements.
For IFRS 17, support the three measurement models: General Measurement Model (GMM), Premium Allocation Approach (PAA), and Variable Fee Approach (VFA), including related concepts such as CSM, risk adjustment, fulfillment cash flows and discounting.
