Job Title: US Taxation - Preparer

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare US Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065)
- Prepare Schedule K-1 and assist in Schedule K-3 (international reporting)
- Maintain capital accounts (tax and book basis)
- Assist in complex allocations, including waterfall and special allocations
- Support carried interest calculations
- Ensure compliance with Section 704(b) and 704(c) regulations
- Analyze and classify income as ECI vs FDAP
- Assist in withholding calculations for foreign investors (Sections 1446(a) & 1446(f))
- Work on multi-tier fund structures (fund of funds, feeder funds, blocker entities)
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate filings

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in US Partnership Taxation (Form 1065)
- Exposure to Private Equity / Hedge Funds
- Positive understanding of:
- Partnership taxation concepts
- Capital account maintenance
- US tax compliance basics





Tools & Software Expertise
- Experience with GoSystems / CCH Axcess / ProSystem fx
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables required; Macros preferred)
- Exposure to fund accounting tools like Investran / eFront (preferred)
