Banquet Hall Supervisor

A Hotel Banquet Hall Supervisor ensures seamless event execution by managing staff, inspecting setup, and delivering high-level service. Key duties include setting up rooms to specifications, coordinating with kitchen/sales teams, handling guest complaints, enforcing safety protocols, and supervising banquet servers and housepersons during conferences, weddings, and private events.
- Event Execution and Supervision: Oversee daily banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate banquet servers and housepersons, conducting pre-shift briefings and providing feedback.
- Guest Service: Liaise with clients to ensure event needs are met, resolving complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
- Setup and Inspection: Inspect tables, furniture, and AV equipment to ensure they match client requirements and hygiene standards.




- Operational Support: Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and assist with administrative tasks like reports and billing.

Key Requirements
- Experience: Usually requires prior experience in food & beverage or catering, often 2-5 years, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Skills: Solid communication, leadership, and organization skills; proficiency in computer systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera) is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long hours and lift, push, or pull furniture and equipment.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification: Alcohol awareness and food safety certifications are often required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
