ROLE Summary:
Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes. Asst. Manager / Sr. Officer should have excellent abilities to negotiate for best possible deals with suppliers.

Internal contacts:
- Communication: -Production, Projects, Maintenance, Laboratory, SHES.

External contacts:
- Specialty Equipment suppliers / Vendors. Design
- Engineering consultant.
- Government officials like local municipal, rationing authorities, controller of explosives etc.

Responsibilities:
- Float enquiries in accordance organization’s procurement and ethical policy to ensure availability of right quality products and services are made available at right cost and time
- Assist in overall procurement activities engineering local and imported items, Finalization of works contracts/AMC.
- Assist in Vendor rating, Contractors Performance Evaluation and Vendor Registration, updating of vendor list based on comments from the internal customers.




- Assist to plan & schedule purchase activities to meet targets relating to quality & cost, and timely delivery by following the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Preparation and Distribution of Purchase Orders along with GTCC and PO terms Conditions to the Contractors/ Suppliers and tracking them for timely delivery.
- Assist in managing all the activities of the purchasing department, preparation of enquiries, purchase orders, terms condition and plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing of offers and preparation of procurement proposals for management approvals for purchase of materials and services to be purchased. Managing maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintain documented information and reports for various statutory, financial Lubrizol corporation and ISO management system requirements. Assisting in renewal of statutory Licenses.
