The role is primarily focused on providing professional counselling and psychological support to students, while also contributing to student mentoring, emotional well-being, academic adjustment, and overall campus wellness under Mononiketan . /n The ideal candidate should have strong clinical sensitivity, sound knowledge of counselling practices, ethical maturity, and the ability to work with students in a structured, confidential, and institutionally responsible manner. /n /n Educational Qualifications /n /n

- M.Phil. in Psychology / Clinical Psychology is mandatory.

- RCI certification/registration is mandatory.

/n

- Additional certification or valid professional counselling license will be an added advantage.

/n /n /n Key Responsibilities /n Counselling & Student Support /n /n

- Provide skilled counselling support to students dealing with academic, emotional, behavioral, psychological, and psychosocial concerns.

/n

- Conduct individual counselling sessions and group counselling interventions as required.

/n

- Support students in managing stress, anxiety, adjustment issues, interpersonal concerns, motivation, self-esteem, and academic pressure.

/n

- Identify students requiring specialized clinical intervention and coordinate appropriate referrals wherever necessary.

/n

- Maintain confidentiality, case documentation, counselling records, and follow-up reports as per professional and institutional norms.

/n

- Develop preventive and supportive mental health initiatives for students.

/n

- Conduct awareness sessions, workshops, and wellness programmes on mental health, emotional resilience, stress management, and student well-being.





/n /n /n Mentoring & Institutional Coordination /n /n

- Work closely with academic departments, mentors, faculty members, and administrative teams to support student welfare.

/n

- Assist in developing structured student support mechanisms within the university.

/n

- Provide professional guidance to faculty or mentors in handling sensitive student concerns, while maintaining confidentiality.

/n

- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, empathetic, and supportive campus environment.

/n

- Support crisis intervention processes as per institutional policies and professional ethical guidelines.

/n /n /n Experience Requirements /n /n

- Prior experience in student counselling, clinical practice, or institutional counselling setups is preferred.

/n

- Experience in higher education institutions will be an added advantage.

/n

- Exposure to psychological assessment, academic mentoring, student support systems, and mental health awareness initiatives is desirable.

/n

- Experience in handling young adults, adolescents, or university-level students will be preferred.
