Spiro is Africa’s largest EV player, accelerating the continent’s shift to electric mobility. We’ve grown 5× in the last year and are targeting a 100× scale. With four manufacturing facilities and 1,000 retail outlets across 10 countries, we pair industrial strength with a pan-Africa footprint.

02 — The role

Own Spiro’s heavy commercial vehicle line end to end: the vehicle programme, depot charging and energy infrastructure, telematics, and the fleet platform that turns trucks into contracted uptime.

Build the product that lets African logistics operators leave diesel on economics.

03 — What you’ll own

Vehicle Programme & OEM Partnerships

Specification, homologation, and launch readiness with OEM partners; variant and payload strategy; pilot-to-fleet conversion; and start-of-production gates per market.

Depot Charging & Energy Infrastructure

Charger selection and depot design, load management and demand-charge control, grid and solar mix, and the uptime model for charging as a contracted service.

Telematics & Vehicle Data Platform

Tier 1 device strategy, CAN and diagnostic data capture,



two-track platform procurement, and a data ownership posture that keeps Spiro independent of any single vendor.

Fleet & TaaS Platform

Dispatch, trip and route management, driver assignment, maintenance scheduling, availability SLAs, and cost-per-kilometer reporting that customers can audit.

Financing, Contracts & Settlement

Pay-per-kilometre and pay-per-tonne commercial models, credit exposure and co lections, immobilization and recovery controls, invoicing, and reconciliation against telemetry.

Service, Parts & Uptime

Workshop network readiness, parts planning and forecasting, warranty policy, remote diagnostics, and the mean-time-to-repair commitments behind every contract.

Safety, Compliance & Driver Experience

Axle-load and transport regulation across markets, driver application and training, incident and camera policy, and the safety telemetry that lowers insured risk.

04 — What you’ll do

- Set strategy & narrative: publish the HCV PRD, TCO model, and metrics-first roadmap.

2.Ship workflows across dispatch, charging, telematics, and contract settlement.

3.Drive RCAs and operationalize reliability across the vehicle, depot, and data platform.
