Position Summary
We’re seeking an Operations Excellence Leader to support the rapid stabilization and standardization of manufacturing operations at our emerging manufacturing site near Pune, Maharashtra in alignment with Veralto standards. In this role, you’ll serve as a critical enabling partner to the India site leadership team, equipping them with the tools, cadence, and coaching needed to deliver sustained improvement across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP). This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior operations professional who thrives in a coaching and enabling capacity, driving meaningful change not by directing from the front, but by building capability, establishing systems, and accelerating the application of the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) alongside site leaders.
You’ll work closely with local OpCo leaders, the VP of Operations, North America counterparts, and cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Planning/Inventory Control, and EHS to embed global Veralto standards and Core Value Drivers into the India site’s daily operating rhythm. Success in this role means a measurably stronger operations team, a fully embedded VES culture, and consistent achievement of policy deployment objectives, all within the first 12 to 18 months.
Detailed Role Responsibilities
- Support site operations leaders in achieving SQDIP targets by providing hands-on VES coaching, structured problem-solving, and operational guidance across Mechanical, Electrical, and Component Assembly functions
- Facilitate the implementation of Daily Management and Visual Management cadences and coach production teams and leaders on VES Lean Fundamentals, helping surface performance gaps quickly, assign ownership of improvement actions, anchor standard work as the everyday operating baseline, and sustain results.
- Partner with site leadership to develop and document operational processes, work instructions, and management routines aligned to Veralto standards, supporting the creation of a consistent and scalable operating model.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration across Purchasing, Quality, and Planning/Inventory Control teams by facilitating integration touchpoints, surfacing systemic waste, and supporting improvement initiatives
- Support site leadership in strengthening EHS, Maintenance, and Repair programs by applying VES tools to identify gaps, implement standard work, and build compliance and reliability into daily operations
- Collaborate with operations leaders on talent development, performance management, and coaching, while analyzing operational data, costs, and forecast performance to help site leaders prioritize action and make fact-based decisions.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping sessions, and Problem Solving Process (PSP) workshops, serving as the on-site VES subject matter resource so that knowledge transfers and improvements are owned and sustained by the site team over time
- Work with Global Sourcing/Operations across Verlato to identify and execute on opportunities to in-source/maximize value capture across metal components & assembly opportunities.
- Role scope may expand to broader site operations leadership based on business needs and demonstrated results.

- Experience in manufacturing operations or continuous improvement, with a demonstrated track record of supporting SQDIP performance improvements across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity
8-12+ years in manufacturing operations with progressive leadership, including direct line leadership.
- Proven Lean manufacturing expertise, with hands-on experience facilitating lean tool deployment in a production environment that delivered measurable, sustained results
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field
- Demonstrated ability to influence and enable leaders and cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and EHS) without direct authority, with strong coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to align diverse stakeholders around shared improvement goals
- Robust manage-by-fact orientation, with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize operational and financial data into clear, actionable insights for site leadership
III. Qualifications
- Experience with the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) or Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and practices
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation, Engineering Technologist credential, or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above)
- Background in supporting operations within a greenfield, growth-phase, or standardization-focused manufacturing environment
- Experience in water treatment equipment, industrial equipment, or adjacent capital-equipment manufacturing
- Prior exposure to global or multi-site operations with cross-regional stakeholder engagement
