Scope The Senior Manager – Engineering leads the engineering function for the plant and is responsible for overseeing machine maintenance and facility engineering initiatives for the plant. This includes overseeing implementation of machine / facility maintenance activities, machine and spares availability, forecasting and adherence to plant engineering budgets execution of improvement projects (for example, SMV reduction, cost savings) and plant facility projects. The role holder also drives sustainability and automation initiatives for the plant, as directed by the center / group.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for planning and deployment of Plant Engineering requirements, including objectives, budgets, improvement projects, etc.
- Oversee effective implementation of machine maintenance activities




- Oversee implementation of facility maintenance and improvement projects
- Manage relationships with internal and external stake holders for achievement of functional objectives
- Responsible for managing the Plant Engineering team

Qualifications

- Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Around 15 plus years’ of overall experience in plant engineering function
- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience of leading the plant engineering team for machine maintenance & facility maintenance
- Post experience in apparel manufacturing industry would be an added advantage
