Role Description The Senior Associate Interior Designer will lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion for commercial, hospitality, and residential spaces.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, space planning, preparing detailed drawings and presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and ensuring design intent is maintained through execution. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and on-site teams, as well as supervising junior designers and production staff.

Designer will also support project budgeting, timelines, and quality standards, while contributing to design innovation and sustainability in each project. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in interior design concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Proficiency in design and documentation software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization tools, and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in material selection, finishes, lighting design coordination, and furniture design or customization.
- Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding junior team members and overseeing on-site execution and quality control.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in interior design, preferably with design-build firms and exposure to commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work full time in office in Mumbai and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
