NOTE ABOUT LOCATION: This is an onsite role based out of Milliman office in Gurgaon, India. The person is expected to work out of Gurgaon office 5 days a week.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior HR Manager supports and strengthens the HR function for Milliman India by delivering professional and comprehensive HR service to all practices. As a steward of the company's values, the successful candidate will advise, influence and coach the HR team to build and support an inclusive, productive and high integrity work environment.

This includes oversight of the Talent Acquisition function, HR Administration and providing direction and leadership to develop the team as required. This individual will be working closely with the HR Business Partnering team as well who reports to the Director Of Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work collaboratively with the broader HR teams to ensure that Milliman practices receive the highest standards of HR support.
- Collaborate with the HRBP team to develop new policies, then be responsible for implementing and administering those HR policies locally.
- Review changes in employment law and work with Global Corporate Services (GCS) to ensure the organization’s policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with legislation.
- Ensure POSH compliance and records are maintained, with any concerns being dealt with appropriately by the relevant team.
- Work on queries received by HR department e.g. compensation, benefits, flexible work, leave entitlement etc. ensuring they are passed to the appropriate team members for resolution in a timely manner.
- Work with HR Service Team (HRST) to ensure that any administrative support is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that all HR data is managed with a zero tolerance for error or inaccuracy.
- Produce and analyze monthly absence reports, identifying trends and working with HRBP team to improve the practice support.
- Ensure that any Employee Relations matters are passed immediately to the HRBP team for resolution but providing guidance and support to the team in managing issues within Milliman India.
- Deal with any immigration queries, working with the central Immigration teams as required.
- Deal with all Leavers administration.




- Identify opportunities to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Work with Compensation team to ensure regular benchmarking is carried out and available prior to performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to collate and forward all necessary payroll information per the deadline and requirements. Partner with Finance to resolve any payroll queries and discrepancies.
- Liaise with the relevant HR departments globally to ensure that compensation data is accurate and updated accordingly.
- Deal with annual review of all Employee Benefits. Work with Finance leader to ensure accurate maintenance of all employee benefits administration.
- Support the Performance Review Processes for local practices, ensuring that any performance issues are passed to the HRBP team for resolution (e.g. PIPs).
- Ensure all performance management data is collected in the HRIS system of record and changes and promotions are passed to HRST for letters and notifications to be distributed.
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in developing strategic partnerships across the local practices to support all hiring needs whilst developing solid talent pipelines for future recruitment needs. Provide oversight and support the end-to-end recruitment delivery across actuarial, technical and non-technical roles, requisition management, sourcing and interviewing through to onboarding.
- Provide oversight and support the TA Manager in driving direct sourcing, using agencies where appropriate, optimizing referrals, developing campus hiring and utilizing TA metrics as appropriate.
- Employer Brand – Work with practices to strengthen Milliman’s employer brand locally and continue to develop the awareness of Milliman as a great place to work.
- Review and ensure a fair and transparent Recruitment and Selection process across Milliman India.
- Ensure that all new hires have completed the background check process prior to joining Milliman.




- Ensure all SOPs are up to date.
- Work with the Learning and Development team to ensure that local leaders are aware of all the opportunities for development and pass on relevant requests for additional support in order to assist line managers identifying suitable training.
- Work with the global HR team to enhance the engagement of all Milliman India teams. This includes a depth of analysis as well as planning and executing employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and well-being.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation, diversity and inclusion, performance management, employee relations and respective employment laws.
- The ideal candidate will have a CIPD or SHRM certification or similar.
- Must demonstrates a professional and consultative approach when working with colleagues and leaders, with a strong ability to build alignment and drive outcomes.
- Must have strong communication skills. Excellent written and verbal.
- Must have previous experience working in a matrix environment, preferably consulting or professional services.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information as well as possessing skills to handle situations in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to manage and follow through on multiple priorities and assignments.
- Must have the ability to be versatile, but also to distinguish when appropriate to maintain boundaries.
