1. Industry background: Sourcing of Electronics, Power Electronics, Magnetics and mechanical Components. Purchase experience from railway background and R&D; background will be an added advantage.
2. Computer proficiency: Microsoft XL & MS WORD

1. Knowledge of Electronics, Power electronics, magnetics and mechanical components purchase and their sources
2. New vendors development for R&D; as well as Production
3. Visiting to the vendors places and getting the work done within timelines
4.



Robust negotiation skills and Strict Inventory control skills are mandatory
5. Validation of prices and genuine sources

6. Convert PRs into Pos
7. Co-ordinating with R&D; team for understanding the requirements
8. Co-ordinate with Stores for GRPO Preparation
9. Co-ordination with IQC for Acceptance of items
10. Co-ordinate with Stores for Rejection, if any and salvaging excess Inventory
11. Co-ordinate with Accounts for the timely payments
12. Preparations Comparative statements and getting Pos approved.
