Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Broadcast Engineer role based in Noida.

The Senior Broadcast

Engineer will oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of broadcast systems for news production and transmission, including studios, control rooms, and transmission chains.

Responsibilities include monitoring signal quality, diagnosing and resolving technical issues in real time, and ensuring uninterrupted broadcast operations for national and regional channels.



The role involves coordinating with editorial, production, and IT teams to support live broadcasts, special events, and new technology deployments.

The Senior Broadcast

Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, document technical procedures, and contribute to planning upgrades and expansion of broadcast infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Broadcast Engineering and Broadcasting for live and recorded television operations.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Broadcast Television environments, including studio, control room, and transmission workflows.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and signal path issues.
- Relevant experience with SDI/IP-based broadcast systems, automation, routers, intercoms, and video/audio monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead engineering role within a broadcast or media network, preferably in a news setting.
- Ability to work under time pressure, support irregular schedules during live events, and follow safety and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional production and editorial teams.
