Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer (Io T / High-Scale Systems)Location: Mumbai - Onsite Experience: 6+ years About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale backend systems powering large-scale Io T platforms. You will work on systems that ingest, process, and analyze high-throughput data streams from distributed devices such as solar installations or other Io T-enabled infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend services for Io T platforms handling millions of device events. Build and maintain high-throughput data ingestion pipelines for real-time and batch processing. Work with time-series data for monitoring, analytics, and reporting use cases.

Architect reliable messaging systems using protocols like MQTT and queueing systems. Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and frontend teams to ensure seamless data flow.

Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across distributed systems.

Required Skills &

Experience Strong experience in backend development using Node.js with Type Script. Hands-on experience building systems for Io T products at scale (solar, energy, or similar domains preferred).



Deep understanding of messaging and streaming systems: MQTTAmazon IOT core Amazon SQS and SNSRabbit MQExperience working in high-throughput, low-latency environments.

Expertise in handling time-series data (e.g., using Influx DB, Timescale DB, or similar). Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and system design.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP). Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Positive to Have Experience in renewable energy domains (solar, EV, smart grids, etc.). Knowledge of stream processing frameworks (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming).

Experience with edge computing or device-side integrations. Understanding of data pipelines and analytics platforms. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
