Role Description This is a full-time, in office Senior AWS DevOps Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure to support enterprise applications and services. The Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor system performance, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency.

This position includes collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable releases, robust observability, and compliance with best practices.



The role also requires troubleshooting production issues, improving infrastructure-as-code practices, and guiding junior team members on DevOps and cloud engineering standards.

Qualifications

- Strong AWS cloud skills in services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, and load balancers.
- Proficiency in DevOps and automation tools, including CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or similar).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster management, scaling, and security best practices.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and reliability concepts such as DNS, VPN, firewalls, security groups, encryption, backup/restore, and disaster recovery.
- Strong scripting and programming capabilities in languages like Python, Bash, or similar for automation, tooling, and operational workflows.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, or AWS-native monitoring solutions.
- Prior experience in designing and operating high-availability, mission-critical production environments with a focus on performance tuning and cost optimization.
