Position Title: Senior Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Reports To: Accounts Head / Director

Location: Vadodara

1. POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance (GST & TDS), ledger maintenance, and reconciliation activities. The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with taxation norms, and effective financial support to management for decision-making.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and maintain ledger accounts.
- Manage receipts, payments, cashbook, and petty cash records.
- Handle GST & TDS compliance, return filing, and taxation planning.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly account reconciliations.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and inter-company transactions.




- Manage vendor payments and prepare reimbursement notes.
- Coordinate audits and maintain proper documentation & file tracking system.
- Report financial discrepancies and assist management with financial analysis.

1. QUALIFICATIONS

- Education: B.Com/M.Com/BBA (Finance) / MBA (Finance) / CA Intern
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
- Technical Skills: Tally, MS Excel, GST & TDS compliance, Financial Reporting, Account Reconciliation
