We're Hiring: Freight Forwarding Manager – Sea Export

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Manager with strong hands-on experience in Sea Export Operations. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of end-to-end Sea Export processes, export documentation, shipment coordination, shipping lines, customs procedures, and client handling.

Experience in Sea Export documentation and operations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Sea Export shipments and operations.
- Handle Sea Export documentation including Bill of Lading (BL), Shipping Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other export-related documents.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA/customs brokers, transporters, overseas agents, and clients.
- Handle booking, container planning, shipment scheduling, documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with shipping lines for SI submission, BL draft, BL confirmation, vessel schedules, and amendments.
- Ensure timely submission and completion of Sea Export documentation.
- Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients.
- Handle client communication, email drafting, and coordination with international partners.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export procedures, and Incoterms.
- Resolve operational issues related to Sea Export shipments and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare operational reports.




- Coordinate with internal teams for timely processing and dispatch of shipments.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Import-Export Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in Sea Export Operations is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Sea Export documentation and shipment processes.
- Valuable understanding of BL, Shipping Bill, SI, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and other export documents.
- Knowledge of shipping line coordination, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Strong client coordination and communication skills.
- Good email drafting and MS Office skills.
- Experience with freight forwarding/logistics software will be an advantage.
