Role & responsibilities
1. Teaching and Curriculum:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for students in Class 4 to 6.
- Teach basic scientific skills and hands on experiential lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods based on student needs and learning styles.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate the full duration of each class.
- Encourage active participation and a lively classroom atmosphere.
1. Assessment and Evaluation:
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students.
- Keep records of attendance, grades, and performance.
1. Individualized Support:
- Identify students with special requirements and create personalized learning plans.
- Address individual learning challenges and provide additional support.
1. Parent Communication:
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with parents to enhance student learning at home.
1. Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning setting.
- Handle classroom crises and resolve conflicts.
1. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other teachers and staff members.
- Participate in school events, workshops, and training sessions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in science or any other equivalent discipline plus Bachelor of Education.
- Teaching certification or relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Patience, resilience, and dedication to students and education.
- Understanding the unique needs of EWS students.
