Role Description The PLC and SCADA Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Chandigarh. This role involves designing, programming, and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems for building management, environmental monitoring, and related industrial applications.

Day-to-day tasks include developing control logic, configuring SCADA interfaces, integrating field instruments (temperature, pressure, level, and flow), and troubleshooting automation systems at client sites. The engineer collaborates with project teams to prepare documentation, support installation and testing, and ensure systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role also includes providing technical support to clients, performing routine maintenance,



and recommending improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider) and SCADA configuration for industrial and building management applications.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems, including sensors and transmitters for temperature, pressure, level, and flow.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and control schematics, and familiarity with field commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of building management systems, HVAC controls, and environmental monitoring requirements in pharma and commercial environments.
- Proficiency with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and integration of devices into automation networks.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or commercial building automation projects is an advantage.
