Job Summary

We are seeking skilled SAP EWM ABAP Technical Consultants to join our team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading ABAP development activities for SAP EWM projects, providing technical expertise, and supporting the implementation and optimization of SAP EWM solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong ABAP programming skills, hands-on expertise in SAP EWM, and experience working on complex EWM technical projects.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP
- Strong experience in SAP EWM – Technical
- In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM:

- Warehouse Structure

- Master Data

- Warehouse Process Types

- Goods Movement
- ABAP development specifically for SAP EWM projects

- Enhancements and User Exits

- Custom Reports

- Interfaces
- RFC, BAPI and IDoc

- ABAP debugging and troubleshooting
- Integration with SAP and external systems

- Performance optimization and tuning
- Unit, Integration and UAT testing

Key Responsibilities

ABAP Development

- Lead the design, development and implementation of ABAP-based solutions for SAP EWM.
- Develop enhancements, user exits, custom reports and interfaces.
- Extend and enhance standard SAP EWM functionality using ABAP.

EWM Customization

- Customize SAP EWM functionality using ABAP to address specific business requirements.
- Develop technical solutions to optimize warehouse operations.

Integration

- Develop and implement interfaces between SAP EWM and other systems.
- Work with RFC,



BAPI and IDoc technologies to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior ABAP developers and technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Requirement Analysis

- Collaborate with SAP EWM Functional Consultants and Business Analysts.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

Testing

- Prepare and execute test plans for ABAP developments.
- Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing and UAT.
- Ensure quality and reliability of technical solutions.

Performance Optimization

- Identify performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize and tune ABAP developments for improved system performance and efficiency.

Technical Support

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issues and enhancements.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement effective technical solutions.

Documentation

- Prepare and maintain technical specifications.
- Maintain code documentation, test scripts and other technical project documents.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

- Ability to work in a project workplace and meet deadlines
