SAP DMS Consultant / DMS Migration Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP DMS Consultant / DMS Migration Lead with strong expertise in SAP DMS, document migration, SAP Content Server, ArchiveLink, and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP DMS implementation, configuration, migration, and integration activities.
- Configure Document Info Records (DIR).
- Work with document types, statuses, versions, originals, and classifications.
- Configure DMS master data, document classes, characteristics, and status networks.
- Configure DMS workflows for multilevel approvals.
- Plan and execute legacy document migration to SAP DMS/S/4HANA.
- Analyze legacy document repositories and define migration strategies.
- Prepare migration mapping templates and specifications.
- Extract, cleanse, validate, transform, and load documents and metadata.
- Work with SAP Content Server and ArchiveLink.
- Perform migration mock runs and reconciliation.
- Validate document counts, metadata, and document-object relationships.




- Support mass upload/download of DMS documents.
- Link documents with SAP objects such as Material, Equipment, Functional Location, BOM, Purchase Order, Asset, and Maintenance Order.
- Execute SIT, UAT, regression testing, and migration validation.
- Prepare migration runbooks and cutover plans.
- Coordinate with SAP MM, PM, PP, FI/CO, business, infrastructure, and technical teams.

Required Skills
- 8–15 years of SAP experience.
- Strong SAP DMS experience.
- SAP ECC / S/4HANA.
- Document Info Records (DIR).
- Document types, versions, statuses, originals, and classifications.
- SAP Content Server.
- ArchiveLink.
- Document migration.
- DMS workflow.
- Mass upload/download.
- Migration mapping and reconciliation.
- Cutover planning.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
