Accel4 Inc. is a high-growth IT services company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, specializing in SAP Cloud ERP, AI-powered analytics, and cloud migration solutions. To support our expansion across North America, we are building out our outbound sales team in India.

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 3–5 years of relevant development experience and hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA On-Premise or S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation projects.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions while working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP in S/4HANA environments.
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert functional specifications into technical solutions.
- Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows as required.
- Develop and enhance ABAP Objects, including Classes, Methods, Interfaces, and Function Modules.
- Work with ALV reports, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and APIs.
- Develop and optimize Open SQL queries and database-related solutions.
- Work on CDS Views and S/4HANA-specific development concepts.
- Exposure to AMDP and performance optimization is desirable.
- Develop interfaces with SAP and external systems.




- Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Analyze existing custom developments and recommend improvements aligned with S/4HANA best practices.
- Support functional teams during integration testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
- Prepare technical specifications and relevant development documentation.
- Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and transport management processes.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Relevant experience in SAP S/4HANA On-Premise or S/4HANA Private Cloud.
- Strong programming knowledge in ABAP / ABAP Objects.
- Good experience with Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and RFCs.
- Good knowledge of Open SQL and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with CDS Views.
- Exposure to AMDP, OData, APIs, and S/4HANA extensibility is preferred.
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.
- Experience working with functional teams in implementation projects.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

- Experience in at least one complete S/4HANA implementation / rollout.
- Exposure to RAP / RESTful ABAP Programming Model is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration is an advantage.
- Experience with clean-core compliant development practices.
- SAP ABAP certification is an advantage.

Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
