Role Description The Salesforce Automation QA role at PurpleCode is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts for Salesforce applications and related integrations.
The Salesforce
Automation QA professional will execute test plans, identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Responsibilities include validating new features, regression testing, monitoring quality metrics, and ensuring that Salesforce configurations and customizations meet business and compliance requirements. The role also requires participation in review meetings, continuous improvement of QA processes, and clear communication of risks and recommendations to project teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience with Quality Management practices, including defining test standards and maintaining documentation.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or analogous compliance frameworks and their application to system validation.
- Proficiency in Quality Auditing, including conducting audits of configurations, processes, and test artifacts.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing (functional, integration, and regression) and automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Ability to design and execute test cases, manage defect tracking, and use issue management tools (e.g., JIRA or comparable systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in Salesforce QA or CRM quality roles is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, QA-related certifications) are an advantage.
