Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Incharge to ensure safe working practices and compliance with HSE standards at electrical power project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and project-specific HSE requirements.
- Monitor electrical work, construction activities, working at height, excavation, lifting, and other high-risk activities.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and workers.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain PPE compliance at site.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, permits, and safety records.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Implement and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW)



systems and safe work procedures.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and workers to resolve safety issues.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, including fire safety, first aid, evacuation, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain safety statistics and submit periodic HSE reports to management.
- Stop unsafe work wherever there is an immediate risk to personnel, equipment, or property.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / B.Tech / Degree in Engineering, preferably with a Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in electrical power, transmission line, substation, solar, EPC, or construction projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety, HSE practices, risk assessment, PTW, PPE, and emergency procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage safety requirements independently at project sites.
- Knowledge of applicable statutory safety requirements and industry standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
