Summary

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with the hotel's corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Rooms Controller is responsible for optimizing room inventory, coordinating guest room allocations, managing room status updates, and ensuring maximum occupancy and guest satisfaction. The role works closely with Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Revenue Management, and Guest Services to ensure efficient room utilization, seamless arrivals and departures, and compliance with service standards.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management. Minimum 2 years of work experience in Front Office, Reservations,



Revenue Management, or Rooms Division operations in a hotel environment. Must possess strong knowledge of room inventory management, room allocation procedures, and Property Management Systems such as Opera or Fidelio.

Positive analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. The candidate should be able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy while delivering exceptional guest service.
