Role Description The Robotics Educator will design and deliver engaging, hands-on robotics lessons to school-age learners, introducing them to core concepts in robotics, electronics, programming, and problem-solving. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, setting up and managing classroom equipment, guiding learners through practical projects, and assessing their progress. The role involves collaborating with school staff and OLL’s academic team to align content with learning outcomes and ensure a safe,
inclusive classroom environment.
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, requiring regular in-person sessions at partner schools or OLL learning centers.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience facilitating skill-based, hands-on learning for school-age learners.
- Ability in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured robotics activities and workshops aligned with curriculum goals.
- Excellent Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly, motivate learners, and collaborate with school stakeholders.
- Background in robotics, electronics, or STEM fields, with practical experience using robotics kits, sensors, and basic programming tools.
- Ability to manage a classroom, support diverse learning needs, and create an inclusive, learner-centered workplace.
- Preferred: Degree or certification in education, engineering, or a related discipline, and prior experience teaching robotics or STEM in schools or learning centers.
- Comfort working in on-site school settings in Bengaluru South, with flexibility for part-time schedules and activity-based sessions.
